Lake Bomoseen

Lake Bomoseen is the largest lake located entirely within the state of Vermont. It is located in the western part of the state, near the town of Castleton. The lake has a surface area of approximately 2,400 acres and is surrounded by a variety of vegetation, including hardwood trees and conifers. The lake offers a variety of recreational activities, including boating, fishing, swimming, and camping. There are several campgrounds located near the lake, and the lake is also home to several species of fish, including largemouth bass, rainbow trout, and yellow perch.
